Effective communication is the key to any successful relationship. During an initial consultation I seek to understand as much as possible about a client’s lifestyle and specific issues surrounding mobility, pain or any particular injuries. From this I can determine the best course of treatment to proceed with. It is essential that the client has full faith in their therapist and I ensure this is achieved by explaining the individual treatment plan. I will then rely on a clients feedback in order to work with the levels of pressure that best suit their needs by talking to them throughout the session in order to provide the best treatment possible.

A sports massage mainly focuses on the areas most vulnerable to injury or stress as well as larger areas of built-up tension or ‘knots’ as they are more commonly known, while the deep tissue massage will usually involve a more generalized treatment in order to relieve new areas of pain in a clients muscles and tissues.
